Valentina Angeli

Valentina Angeli si è specializzata da molto tempo in un genere naturalistico quasi fotografico. Non si tratta di una semplicistica tecnica aerografica. Valentina ritrae in maniera minuziosa, stupendi particolari di boschi e vegetazione, con una tecnica segreta. Il risultato: una varietà assortita di accesi colori da stravolgere l’immediata dimensione visiva. Un’evoluzione casuale che non riesce a spiegare la stessa artista ma che coinvolge la sola variazione cromatica, lasciando inalterato tutto il resto. Intuitiva l’ispirazione naturalistica del paesaggio romantico, ma i quadri della Pittrice ternana si focalizzano in maggiore dettaglio. Perdipiù, la fissazione dell’intenso quanto acceso colore sempre mutevole, suggerisce un impressionismo che non si limita alla suggestiva forza della Natura e alla sua vitalità di rinnovamento, ma anche alla dimensione interiore dell’artista che supera la realtà e la condiziona.

Valentina Angeli was born in Collazzone (Perugia). She moved first to Terni, where she obtained a high school diploma (classical studies), and then to Perugia, where she graduated in Politics. She worked for many years as an entrepreneur (data processing): she didn’t have much time for her artistic interests such as ceramic decoration, wall decoration, antique furniture restoring. Her first approach to painting was in Master Mario Chiocchia’s school, with whom she polished her technique. She then quit her business activity and became a full time painter. Since 2004 she has taken part in many art exhibitions and has entered many competitions in various Italian regions, during which she has been repeatedly awarded: the Roberto Quacquarini-Insula Romana 2010 Award, the Eureka Award, the International Spoleto Festivalart 2011 Award.She is now actively involved in the art community of the Umbria region. She has also founded a cultural and arts Association with some of the most representative painters from Umbria.
